Sunday, July 21st

2pm - 3pm EDT

FREE: Participants must RSVP through this page.

Step into the mystical realm where archetypal images from the Tarot weave their magic into our everyday lives. These ancient symbols act as keys, unlocking the door to universal truths hidden within our unconscious minds. Just as the South Korean K-pop group BTS captivates audiences worldwide with their deeply symbolic works, resonating with people of all ages, their artistry echoes the timeless imagery of the Tarot.

As Carl Jung posited, archetypes hold the secrets of our connection to the divine and the cosmos, guiding us through the labyrinth of existence. Through the language of symbols, the Tarot channels energy, elevating our consciousness to embrace our destined path and glimpse the possibilities of our future. Join me in the mystical journey through the Magic Shop of BTS, where their songs and visuals serve as mirrors reflecting the archetypes of the Tarot. Let us unravel the lessons embedded within these symbols, empowering ourselves to transform not only our lives but also the very fabric of the world around us.

Mary K. Greer is an independent scholar, writer, teacher, and professional tarot consultant, known for her innovative teaching techniques. With over 55 years tarot experience, she is the author of 12 books on tarot and on magic and taught tarot in colleges and universities for 14 years. She became a fan of BTS early in 2019 when they came out with the first of two albums based on the psychological concepts of Carl Jung. As a tarot reader, Mary thinks of herself as a ‘midwife of the soul,’ favoring techniques that are interactive, transformational and empowering. Her 1984 book Tarot for Your Self revolutionized the practice of tarot, being the first book to describe reading for oneself as a self-help, personal development, and creativity tool. She is featured at conferences and workshops around the world, and currently lives in Northern California.

Mary’s other books include: Pamela Colman Smith: The Untold Story; Archetypal Tarot: What Your Birth Card Reveals; 21 Ways to Read A Tarot Card; The Complete Book of Tarot Reversals; Understanding the Tarot Court; Essence of Magic: Tarot, Ritual and Aromatherapy; Women of the Golden Dawn: Rebels and Priestesses; and more. Mary’s blog on the internet features posts on Pamela Colman Smith, the history and practice of tarot, and on women's age-old role as diviners. She also comments on the appearance of tarot and divination in popular media from poetry to books, films and music. You can find her at www.marykgreer.com and on Facebook.
