In this four-week interactive class, delve into Kahn and Selesnick's Carnival of the End of the World deck through art history and Tarot practice, journeying from Velasquez to 'Wicker Man'-inspired iconography. Through assignments, games, and free-association exercises both at home and in class, students will acquaint themselves with the deck's ecological sensibilities, folk rituals, and exuberant costumes. Each participant will forge a personal connection with the deck, uncovering its potent storytelling potential.
