Artomancy - Using Art as A Mantic Tool

$120.00

Show me the images stirring your soul, I’ll unveil the hidden phenomenons at play in the deep layers of your experience.

If, as Marcel Duchamp describes it, it is the spectator who makes the picture, our relationship to images is reciprocal, an energy exchange in which we’re never really passive. Falsely still, paintings activate a part of us and can be used as a scrying surface, revealing who we are, what we experience, while giving shape to our blind spots. Rear view mirrors of the self, the art we love at a given moment always profoundly speaks about us. By unraveling the symbolic material that surrounds the images, we are offered a chance to meet the strangers within us.

Combining interactive art exploration with a more experimental approach to tarot, Laetita proposes to each querent to dynamise their image-gazing experience by using it for introspective pursuit. Prior to the appointment, each person will be asked to provide a series of images that resonate with what they are undergoing - between 3 to 7.   After contemplating the selected pictures and using them as archetypal axes, Laetitia will create a bespoke spread for the querent to help them gain clarity over what they experience and restore the autonomy they need to find direction.

These sessions are about 80 minutes.
